Malibu is always one of my favorite locations to photograph in. There are just so many versatile landscapes to play with, and my clients love it too! For AJ and Pearson’s engagement session, we decided on both the mountains and ocean as their backdrop (because let’s be real, it’s too hard to decide between – they are both equally stunning). Our first location was a perfect 80 degrees and breezy, while the 2nd location by the beach dropped about 15 degrees and had some pretty crazy winds!! You may spot some pretty florals in their session – those were done by the amazingly talented Laurie at Unique Floral Designs – be sure to check out her work!!

These two met in high school but their relationship didn’t take off until a couple of years after they graduated! The two were always fond of one another, but both were a little hesitant to make the first move. It wasn’t until a couple of years after high school that the two rekindled their love! After a night of yummy food and laughs these two knew they were a match. The two have been dating since December of 2015 and have been inseparable ever since! They love to hike, go to church together, attend concerts and venture on short trips to random cities in California! When I asked them to tell me one special thing about one another, they both said,”We love that we don’t have to do anything extravagant to have fun. We can just do nothing and still have a blast with one another.” I love that and think that is SO important in relationships! 

These two are getting married at the beautiful Graf Family Farm in Ventura County. They especially love how the owner is so willing to help with anything they need, and loves that it is so unique and tucked away. I am so excited for their wedding in October!!
