Kelsey and Brandon’s engagement session at the Dallas Arboretum and White Rock Lake was brimming with fall-inspired charm. The Arboretum is one of my favorite settings to shoot at, as it provides me with a multitude of stunning backdrops to work from – vibrant and fiery foliage, grand architecture and arches, shallow ponds full of greenery, and beautifully paved walkways. Even so, our surroundings paled in comparison to this beautiful couple and their sweet and gentle love for one another.
The couple met while playing League of Legends online in 2016, and they quickly became friends and would play together from time to time, but it wasn’t until they added a voice chat option to the game in 2018 that they really started getting to know one another.
For the proposal, Brandon had bought them tickets to go to Chicago for an orchestra concert. On the day of the concert, he took Kelsey to a botanical garden and proposed. Afterward, they then spent the day at the Chicago Zoo, and then later in the evening, they went to dinner and the concert. Kelsey and Brandon admire each other’s sweet and caring dispositions most of all, and they enjoy spending quality time together playing games, bonding over tv shows and movies, and drinking bubble tea! Kelsey and Brandon’s intimate wedding of 40 will take place in April of 2021 at the romantic Knotting Hill Place. I am so excited for them to tie the knot!
