With her expertise in event planning with Brand Like That, Natalie took on the challenge of designing her wedding alongside her business partner and mother. The result? A beautifully planned day that flowed seamlessly, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Natalie, her team, and LB Events.
From the moment Natalie walked down the aisle in her square-neck gown, customized to perfection by Rebecca Schoneveld, to Gordon’s display of his Scottish heritage in his family tartan, every detail spoke volumes about their love story. The fusion of Persian traditions with Scottish touches created a tapestry of cultures, reflecting the richness of their backgrounds.
The ceremony, curated with care and attention to tradition, showcased the beauty of Persian customs through the Sofreh—a modern interpretation that paid homage to Natalie’s heritage. Mallory with the Flowers crafted stunning arrangements that harmonized perfectly with the Sofreh, adding an extra layer of beauty and elegance to the ceremony space. Against the backdrop of recent events in Iran, Natalie’s desire to share her culture with friends took on a deeper significance, highlighting the resilience and beauty of Persian traditions.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, guests were treated to a beautiful outdoor dinner, followed by a surprise hair transformation for Natalie—a testament to her spontaneity and spirit. With a sleek bun for the ceremony and her signature short hair for the reception, Natalie radiated confidence and joy.
The evening unfolded in a whirlwind of music by Second Song, laughter, and In-N-Out burgers. Natalie and Gordon’s wedding artfully represented love, tradition, and celebration.
