Alice and Steven’s wedding at The Olana wedding venue in Hickory Creek, TX was the pinnacle of elegance and class. It was important to the bride and groom that they tie the knot at a venue that demonstrated a luxurious quality, and The Olana did not disappoint. This French-inspired estate is built on an ample 40 acres, providing a unique variety of rich and diverse backdrops to choose from – with exquisite crystal chandeliers, detailed area rugs and window drapes, and ornate sculptures, which as you can see, the sweet couple truly took advantage of! The Olana could not have been a more perfect venue, as Steven had proposed to Alice at sunrise at the top of the Trocadero in Paris, with a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. Alice adores Steven for his caring nature and witty humor, and Steven cherishes Alice’s friendly and open-minded essence.
The two decided on a brisk October day, and their two families gathered as one in the venue’s main ballroom, The Solarium, for both ceremony and reception. Every detail insisted upon a high level of sophistication and grace. All stationery was created by Rise and Shine Letterpress, but was designed by the bride herself! Alice wore a Martina Liana Bridal gown, dazzling teardrop earrings, and “something blue” heels. Steven donned a classic black tux by Ralph Lauren and killer red-bottomed Louis Vuitton shoes.
This day was masterfully coordinated and executed by Gathered Events DFW. The reception was brimming with laughs, funny moves out on the dance floor, and delicious treats like hand-made lattes by Nightowl Coffee Cart, mouth-watering macarons from Chelles Macarons, and of course, the stunning five-tiered cake crafted by Butterfly Cakery. Haute Floral’s artistic vision was brought to life flawlessly with beautifully textured white and blush roses with mixes of greenery and ranunculus.
